Our refurbishment process corrects many common modes of failure such as vibration or shaking, intermittent signal failure, and loss of motion. Every unit is completely disassembled and each subcomponent is inspected for physical damage before being cleaned. All critical and high-failure parts are replaced with NEW components of equal or better quality.
Upon reassembly, we perform a thorough series of tests to ensure proper performance and operational reliability. Our 48-hour qualification process includes a wide range of checkpoints from wafer handling to signal continuity.

Overview of our refurbishment of Semitool Lift-Rotates:
- Complete disassembly of Lift-Rotate
- Inspect frames and covers for physical/chemical damage and replace as needed
- Parts/covers are re-anodized or powder coated
- Gears, linear bearings, lead screw, ball bearings cleaned and re-lubricated or replaced
- New motors installed on all refurbished units
- Replace all signal and power cables, connectors and pneumatic tubing
- Replace all O-rings with new OEM parts
- New flex cables installed
- Plating Cable is inspected for physical/chemical damage and replaced as needed
- Inspect upper and lower Bellows for damage and replace as needed
- All old screws replaced by new and checked for quality performance
- Lift-Rotate refurbishment available for Semitool Equinox, LT210 and Raider
Final Testing:
- All axes tested to ensure motors operate smoothly and all communication signals are present
- After refurbishment each Lift-Rotate is marathon-tested for 1,000 cycles
- Certificate of Compliance provided for each completed unit
